CONTACT DETAILS
Rathenraw Integrated Primary School, Stiles Way, Antrim BT41 2TA Telephone: 02894 463979 Principal: Mrs V Wilson
Rathenraw is an INTEGRATED primary school. This means Catholic and Protestant children are educated together with children of other faiths and none. All abilities are catered for and we have a special needs unit in our school too. Our children share aspects of their education therefore, on a daily basis, and learn to grow up without prejudice, respecting one another's differences. Is your child ready for school? If your child is FOUR between 1st September 2007 and 1st July 2008, they are ready for "big school" in September 2008. Enrolment forms are available at school NOW, and should be filled in by the end of January 2008. |
Celebrating 10 years together!
Integrated education as a whole is 25 years old this year. Lagan College, opened in September of 1981.
Recently Rathenraw celebrated 10 years of integrated education. (We "transformed" to integrated status in 1996) We had a lovely party with a magician, and invited guests from our Governors and Antrim Borough Council. There are more pictures of this party in our gallery page. Just click on the bar on the left hand side of the page.
